The Power of Blogs, part two

The Power of Blogs, part two

I’ve been spending all my time this last week working on posts for the TypePad Hacks blog, which is why it’s a bit quiet here right now. I do have a couple posts lined up about interesting business and marketing hacks for artists (and others) but I haven’t quite found time to polish them up yet. Soon, I promise.

In the mean time, it’s nice to know that TypePad Hacks has already caught the attention of folks at SixApart. By the end of day one I had a comment from one of the members of the design team letting me know it was making the rounds in the lab. By the end of Day two, Anil Dash (SixApart VP) had left a comment with the promise of more dialogue to come. This is pretty darn exciting, and I think it demonstrates nicely that it is possible to spark a good conversation between companies and users with the proper application of diplomacy and respect. (I mean, really, the blog hadn’t even been indexed by google yet, it was so new). Bueno.

I find it amusing (but totally sweet) to see myself labeled as a genius on David Parmet’s blog. Heh.

I always mis-spell the word genius (don’t know if that works for or against the claim).
